... to the beach to collect some bottled water was declined by myself as I decided rape and murder would probably be too much for one evening, and after the routine tactical spew from each party we retired to our kips with an 8am wake up call on the cards for our next stop ''Palolem''. Unbeknown to myself, I had just made one of the worst decisions of the trip so far.


Lesson of the day - if you know somewhere that puts on a good feed, don't jump in their pool at 2am.

... in the morning... one beach not really what we were wanting, Majorda, so back south to Colva - a couple of km's.

Dropped into an atm booth, someone sleeping on the floor in a blanket in the room...India.

Thought we had a long cold wait ahead of us, but no, what else would you expect in India, some old bloke wanders over, you need room? mmm okay, off you go and your being checked in to a beach resort at five thirty am by someone wrapped in a blanket!!
