... planted in the Venetian rule. Again another day to be 38 degrees! Beautiful weather. We catch a shuttle bus in to Corfu. It has a unique atmosphere and a fascinating blend of architectural styles. The old Quarter is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Corfu is a place to explore for historians, ...

coffee #2 (much to the surprise of our host – I'm not sure how many
other tourists order more than one cup of this thick and spicy stuff
    – especially without the sugar). More than an hour passed. Earl
ordered a beer. We are watching folks scurry to either get a good
place along the street to see the parades, or to be in the parade.

... where we had a great Greek salad, tiropita and espresso. We also took the opportunity to use the Wi-Fi facility to send some emails –laborious on a smart phone.

We were looking for the Archeological Museum, which was a short distance from the beachfront but on enquiring of a local on its whereabouts was told it was closed for 2 years but she also told us about another Museum further along in an area where Prince ...
