An early morning train to Torun. The train takes about 3 hours travelling through the country. We pass lots of farms and forests. ... Not a day for strolling around them. Thank goodness for Tom Tom. we went through Bialystok, quite a large city, undergoing major road works. and we would have divorced without it. ... a theme I think of this trip is just everything seems so old when it is taught in school and it just doesn't seem like it could still exist but it is right in your face and I have seen this in Churches, City Blocks in Prague and Torun, Cathedrals, and real life castles!
