... for a while, had a coffee at the famous Homan House and returned to the car. It's as pretty as a fairy tale town.

From there we followed the road to the main highway to Bled, arriving mid afternoon and found our hotel Villa Prešerin, right on the lake.

... br> From the caves, we headed back to Bled where we went out for dinner. Darrell decided to take in some of the local fare with a dinner of wild boar and a local beer. Sue also enjoyed a local mushroom soup. This was topped off with a desert of the original Bled cream cake. Mmmmm delicious.

Tomorrow we will be visiting the Capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana on our way to Zagreb, Croatia.

We spent the morning at Lake Bohinj - 4kms long and 2kms wide. ...

As we walked back from dinner, we both expressed our sadness about leaving in our own way, but at the same time I think we both know that we will be back!

... very excited for on our Balkans adventure. The town was a short train ride away. The issue arriving that late at Bled Leske station was the bus’s were very infrequent. We stood under a bus shelter for what had to be half an hour wondering if a bus was ever going to come. It was one of those travel moments where you hold your breath hoping that what you read on a travel forum was right. I was about to go and enter a shop or something and try and ...
