We left the cafe thinking that OH & S was a bit different in Slovenia.

An easy ride in to Bled was punctuated by further road works at Begunje which led us to detour through Lesce to reach our final destination.

We called into a local information place who "happened" to suggest the hotel next door ...

... us both 'welcome' kisses, because we were Australian, asked us both to marry him or his friend, and then kissed us again as we left with our crepe (which he still charged us for). But in a nice way, not a creepy way. At the hostel, I did a very efficient job of packing my bag, before crashing at about 9.30. We had to check out of the hostel at 11am, so we left our bags and sat in a cafe writing postcards for an hour or so, before heading back to the bus station. Destination: ...
