... red with an unpronouncable name. This morning we walked to the slap - before a huge brekky - tested our rock climbing and balancing skills just a little.
In a few minutes we are off to the Kobarid war museum ( oh, by the way, this is Ernest Hemingway's territory also. god he got around) and then Ljubliana. Have just walked around Ljubliana. Seems very nice as is our airbnb apartment within walking distance of everything. Tom again has his eyes on the local cakes!
... was very annoyed because they wouldn't let him pay part card and part cash at the service station and we had Croatian kunas that we needed to get rid of. So he decided to just fill up twice and pay for one then the other. I thought it would be less embarrassing if I waited inside with the cash and paid as soon as he'd done the first fill, then he could start filling again and go in and pay for it and they would be none the wiser, plus the other cars wouldn't beep at him for ...
... of the church in the middle with the mountains in the background! After some time and a few stops we came across an epic rope swing which gave us the chance to take even more epic photos of us flying through the air with the church in the background! I think we spent about an hour there mucking about in the water, even having to climb up a tree after getting the swing stuck on a branch! It was great fun though and at points attracted quite a crowd of ...

While waiting at the bus station we meet some Aussies from Adelaide and had time to chat to them briefly before a bus arrived - it was a little earlier than expected but Judy asked if this was the right bus. The driver replied quite gruffly that it was not ( even though the signs in the window seemed to have all the right words like Ljubljana, Bled). He told her that he didn't

... of the tiny church and a gift shop. Well, at least the boat had a roof so we didn't get wet.
The mountain air and beautiful surroundings made Bled a great stop, although it's time to move on. There is some decent looking hiking in the nearby hills, but the weather is not playing nice. Plus, I think if the weather was nice, this place would be more overrun than we like.
Next stop Ljubljana.
