    ... gym. This is where they hang all their pennants for their sporting achievements; there were plenty of them! Outside the baseball team were training out on the diamond and they offered us a chance to hit a few balls. Mr Daryl Lilley and Toby Burkett took up the offer. They both made good connection with the ball, we are still waiting to hear if they are to get a scholarship....

    ... in a cab on an LA freeway. What's the speed limit? What lane should you be in? It's not a problem? Seat belts? Not a problem. We are flying. Weaving. Nobody toots and there are near misses all about. We get home and in the short ride the driver has become our best friend.     ... and fried chicken... Soooo good. Wandered around the Third Street Promenade again and got all the things we needed and really didn't buy anything frivolous which makes a change. I think as far as clothing/ shoes etc you can't go too far past this place. Cheap, average and expensive tastes are all catered for. Ended up back at the house about 5ish.
