We wake up, not particularly early as the sun took a while to rise over the tree's. We do our usual, eat breakfast and pack our tent up. We decide because we are heading to the beach today we wouldn’t bother showering until after. So skipped the shower and headed straight out for the day.

... tip required. After lunch we continued with Vince and another couple and headed to La Jolla, pronounce La Hoya. It's Spanish! We saw the sea caves and the stinky sea lions and seals in the children's pool. Another highlight was Soledad National Monument and the Crystal Pier. If if you think our day ended there, you are mistaken we also had prepaid for tickets to the Padres and Oakland Athletics game, however I was exhausted and the bright lights meant that I was squinting at ...
... one side of the park to the other. The park is very uphill and too hard to walk after walking 2 full days at Disneyland. We get off at the top to see the Polar Bears then walk back to the chair lift to go back. It is quite boring here as it is so big to get around and you don't really see too many animals as a lot have been shifted as they are doing building works for a bigger and better zoo to be completed by end 2017.
