... nominated for "best travel blog" (joke!). George took us down to Hollywood to see where the Oscars are held and also to get a photo of that iconic sign! We went down Sunset Strip before seeing the Venice canals and getting dropped off at Venice Beach so we could walk the 1.5 miles to Santa Monica Beach. A great day! ...
... but we decided to walk it instead. Santa Monica Pier was certainly more attractive then Venice Beach.
From here we spent the rest of the afternoon driving around Beverly Hills Bvld, and visited the stars on the street. While the sun was going down, we walked to the Griffith Observatory, with a panoramic view of the smoggy LA.
The next morning we awoke early and hit the road to Las Vegas baby!
