    Santa Monica, CA, 4 - 6 April, by Ben

    The US was not originally on our itinerary but, because we managed to get a cheap flight from Japan and needed LAX to connect to South America, a sojourn was a no-brainer.

    ... last night and beat the girls in the lift!

    All aboard the bus and off to Universal Studios which takes over and hour and gives us a good opportunity to catch up on some sleep. We all get in easy enough and then it was all aboard the tram for the studio tour.

    ... temperature no matter how it feels to change. I also know we are heading south cos the car told me! It has some inbuilt directional ability that I don't understand but I will have to accept that the car has more idea of where we are than I do.
