... perfect clear day for viewing all the peaks.

We had a little time to walk the town of Zermatt before our train left for the viewing. We had no idea how many different companies made watches. We know of some of the most popular, but there had to of been another 30 different watch makers. They were all beautiful. I think I want to ask for a Rolex for Christmas. Eldon even found a watch he thought he'd like if he were so inclined to buy ...

And a beer- I had no idea what I was ordering but I would have tried about anything, it was fun! ...

Shannon's alarm didn't go off this morning, so at 7:05am I rushed up to his room to wake him up. Ten minutes later we were out the door, hurrying toward Gare de Paris Bercy, or Bercy train station. Our train was to leave at 7:38am and that it did. From watching the back end of the train pull away, and breathing heavily from running, I took note that it was an ugly train, ...

... Lake Thun. It was such a change from the city life in Florence, calming and quaint. (fun fact: the movie 007 was shot there) I can honestly say this vacation has been my favorite so far, with the locals being friendly and helpful.. and it didn't hurt that there was close to no language barrier. (The majority of the Swiss spoke English and my roommate is fluent in their official language, German.)
