... perfect clear day for viewing all the peaks.

We had a little time to walk the town of Zermatt before our train left for the viewing. We had no idea how many different companies made watches. We know of some of the most popular, but there had to of been another 30 different watch makers. They were all beautiful. I think I want to ask for a Rolex for Christmas. Back to the dorm for an early night as tomorrow is another 600km plus trip to Florence via Pisa.

... station inEurope). The train stops twice at special viewing points inside the tunnel to allow passengers to get off for a few minutes to check out the incredible view from holes blasted in the side of the mountain. Fortunately no one had any issues with the high altitude (highest point of almost 12,000 feet!), and we were able to fully enjoy the Ice Palace, the Sphinx viewing platform & the walk along the glacier. An absolutely incredible ...

Ah France, cultured, sophisticated, beautiful people. WRONG!!! 10:00am So today hasn't been a good start to the day. Shannon's alarm didn't go off this morning, so at 7:05am I rushed up to his room to wake him up. Ten minutes later we were out the door, hurrying toward Gare de Paris Bercy, or Bercy train station. Our train was to leave at 7:38am and that it did. From watching the back end of the train pull away, and breathing heavily from running, I took note that it was an ugly train, ...
