      ... ride at 3883m!!! Can't wait!! Mark I thought yesterday would be hard to top... But today was as good !! The Glacier Express train took us down, and then up and down again... To Brig... Beautiful scenery, but we could not open the windows, so taking photos was difficult, and we could not feel the cold wind on our faces like yesterday.       …..aaaahhhh…… And I had always thought that the red line was the swiss making a clear distinction and organization of pedestrians on the walkway. Hum…would make sense that it was directional as the red line wasn’t seen everywhere.. HA!

      ... nearby motorway, largely due to the powerful river Rhone running through it and drowning out the sound of everything else. Clearly I hadn’t yet got over my eating disorder, as I polished off the whole 100g bar of chocolate for dessert, before trying out both varieties of muesli bar before heading to sleep. I was in danger of turning into a genuine cycle tourer – sinewy legs, no upper body and a protruding belly.

      ... crew came upon a revolving restaurant at the top of a mountain which was just being built. It then became the Villain's layer (Ernst Stavro Blofeld) in the film in exchange for help with infrastructure costs (the cable car!). Other scenes were shot in and around the area including the car park of the Hotel Saubbach. In the film Mr Bond does not die but skis off down the mountain being followed by the villain's henchmen, hence the naming of the run off the top as the James Bond ...

      We decided to have a day of rest, so Thursday, we slept in, relaxed and just hung out in Interlaken. The previous night, while in town, some local swiss had invited us to a fondue night at their house. We were all excited to go, but they ended up canceling! Instead, we hung out with the Australian guys who were sharing our room- Matt and Tom. We drank the wine we had planned to bring to our host's house and we went out for traditional Swiss food.
