The season is drawing to a close, Whistler Mountain is soon to shut and with that the formal ski season is over. This means 95% of staff stop getting a pay cheque but the upside to this is they do not have to go to work! This includes Jenny who deserves a break more than most having worked the last 15 days without a day off, working two jobs, as mentioned in previous post. Jenny will tell you more about that below.

... Games. It was a free afternoon, but the tour guide had advised that we catch a gondola to the top of the mountain and then to try the Peak to Peak Gonda which went from Mt. Whistler to Mt. Blackcomb at 6,102 feet. Apparently there are about 60 bears known to be living on Mt. Whistler and 18 had been sighted in the area of a particular pylon.
