... as well. The brewery is an old building but had to adapt its brewing to meet EU regulations (eg, stainless steel vats). We finish up with some beer. I have a beer in which the yeast is still alive which is supposed to be good for you. Because we are running late for our 3:00 bus, we also eat there. My lunch was almost identical to TV dinners from my childhood. Beer good. Food bad.

We hasten to make our bus. We had obtained two of the ...
Cesky Krumlov, Bohemia, Czech Republic will.traveller... and Ceský Krumlov are sporadic. It is only a 90 minute ride but with limited traffic. The alternative would be a 5 hour train ride. One company wanted $200 to take us since they had no other passengers. Luckily, one shuttle had 30 tourists from Thailand and a few extra spots. We get there for $34 total. It is a very pretty town with a couple of small castles appearing along the way.

Ceský Krumlov is gorgeous. It ...
Cesky Krumlov, Bohemia, Czech Republic will.traveller... we are going on paper so they know - especially after the yelling match in Poland.
So Tabor is another small town with a castle and while we were there they were having their annul town festival. Lots of food, beer, music, etc. They were already tearing the stage down when we arrived though. This always happens to us. But luckily there were a few other small groups playing in different parts of the town. Also today all the town attractions were free ...
Ceske Budejovice, Bohemia, Czech Republic unbound... to town and the tower here. So I get off just as the bus is about to leave and I open the door, the bus driver is none too happy with me. There is a Brazilian and a German who also get off, we discuss maps etc and it works out we are all staying at, wait for it, one of the best names, Hostel Postel. We walk there together and it is pretty easy to find. Again I am stuck by the ease at which I remember how to get around. There are two Malaysian girls staying in ...
Cesky Krumlov, Bohemia, Czech Republic penny.hope... It’s simply ingenious what some people can make things look like with concrete. This creative approach was also currently being used to good effect in other purely functional Czech towns we passed through by bus and train, with wavy bright colours used to great effect to cheer up the appearances of a small percentage of the gloomy grey concrete Communist apartment blocks that ...
Cesky Krumlov, Bohemia, Czech Republic troywilkinsonWe arrived today in a lovely little town in the Czech. It has wonderful history which we learned all about today while wandering about with a self guided tour and taking pictures. I can't go into detail now but the buildings are again of the jaw dropping sort. The history is interesting and scandalous and we are staying in a nice little hostel near a river that runs through the middle of town! I love it! Hope you all are well!
Cesky Krumlov, Czech Republic kellyann... tour.. but you didnt hear that from me. The tour guide had to give speeches in 3 different languages (english, german, and czeck). Again.. the climax.. if it so can be said.. was the beer tasting.. we were offered two different types the light and the dark.. both unfiltered versions.. similar to the pilsner offerings. The only real difference.. as far as I'm concerned.. is that I have a beer in my hand when touring ...
Ceske Budejovice, Czech Republic drconsul... to blame them for Bush, lol), and we all searched hard for a place that served nightcaps and nearly had to give up before we found the perfect piano cocktail bar. We finished the night with Flying Kangaroos (pina coladas with extra oomph, no idea where the Aussie connection is) and stupidly rich hot chocolates and basically patted ourselves on the back for being genius enough to come to such a cool place...never doubted ourselves for a second, did we??? Guys??
Cesky Krumlov, Czech Republic cazali... i have no idea who they were. Mike and I parked on the river ledge, and talked entertaining **** about our lives back home in Melbourne that made us both laugh, how we looked forward to being back at that wonderful city, recounting old stories of the good times. We shared a fantastic afternoon on this wonderful day, taking in the last of the Czech sun with a couple of beers. I tells ya, it was a pretty awesome way to end the Cesky Krumlov experience, and one which i will never ...
Cesky Krumlov, Czech Republic thesaxmanOk so it took us 6 days to arrive in Prague. The cyclepaths along the Danube lead all the way to Germany and very easy to follow once you work out the signage...so our first day heading along the river, after the help from Hans, was spent backtracking/off the beaten track/repairing Sam's 3rd flat and finally calling it a day and camping about 30ks from Vienna in a place called Tulln...the first camping ground that we've found to be open, so hot ...
