... Saturday brought warnings of apocalyptic snow. It snowed all night and all day and whilst it wasn’t as much as we had 2 years ago, it dumped more in less time – about 1˝ metres at our level. The family had to leave the hire cars in Bagneres and Stefan brought them back in the Landrover just before the main road was closed and whilst we could still get down the drive. Happy new year to all and apologies for no recent blogs. 2014 and the beginning of this year was a bit of a blur for me as, after returning from a quick trip back to family in the UK, I brought back a nasty infection which has poleaxed me. Managed to cope with a houseful for 2 weeks drugged up to the eyeballs and thanks to repeat guest's patience and kindness. Think I will be investing in a flu jab next winter!
