I am so excited about going to Australia and becoming a teenager. It shall be great. Santa will come and he will give me lots of present, I hope! I've got one more day of school left and then we are driving to Manchester to get our flight at 2pm on Thursday. I think the flight is going to really bad because its 24 hours long. What am I going to do? I hope there will be a lot of movies and nice food. ...
Planning everything
So we're at the stage of planning everything. We know the basic route we want to go on, first Jost Van Dyke in the British Virgin Islands for a while as mark is heading out to work there for a bit then we can head to South America to travel around until the money runs out. Now we need to get all the details sorted but its difficult to know how much to plan because you don't want to be stuck ...
Leaving Haggis Land!
... chat. He even explained the inflight entertainment which was otherwise a complete and utter mystery to me! Definite highlights of the flight were the views, especially flying over Baghdad and Basra and even Kuwait, even though it was dark, it was still possible to see the cities all lit up below. The whole flight was surreal, I felt like I was watching myself in a film. Coming down into Dubai was amazing, we could even see the desert and swimming pools below...!

... not going to be pretty if she does...
Today I have to pack and have an ealry night as I leave for Dublin early in the morning....Managed to get my big suitcase packed and under weightand was hoping I could do the same with my hand luggage....Everything has to go into one bag, handbag, cameras and other stuff you are carrying on the plane.
Off to bed now, hopefully I will get some sleep....

Wednesday
... s been etched into them after all this time. I then headed back home, but on the way back home it started to **** down with rain and I got wet. I had washing on the line and when I got back home Uncle Sandy was taking the washing off the line. 15 minutes later the rain had stopped and it was sunny again, so I went back out to take some more photos. I managed to stay dry this time.
Its getting late, so I'm off to bed now. Sweet dreams everyone. xxoo
