Dean's Castle Country Park was so lovely. As we walked around we saw so much wildlife including deers, squirrels, llamas, donkeys and robins. And I can imagine that this was a fairly easy Castle to defend.The cobblestone street leading up to the castle itself is the Golden Mile and it was packed with people. Readers of The Blue Bells Chronicles saw Niall and Shawn take part in this event. A parliament was also held in Ayr, which Niall attended on April 26, 1315.
