Biarritz & Bayonne
Drove on south to Biarritz stopping for some surf along the way. Biarritz is one of Europes best surf locations and its easy to see why. Giant waves can be seen all along the coast, and during the 3 days I was staying the surf only got bigger.

Day 30 - Baggage in beautiful Biarritz
... on our way and Carrefour was no different.
I recharged for a little bit while back at the apartment before we went back out again to find somewhere we could pick up a few supplies, but it wasn't long before we were back there again to enjoy our last evening in Biarritz. I sat out on the balcony until well after eight o'clock, making the most of the sun and thinking about when we'd come back next.

Day 29 - A mission in Biarritz
... about other people taking huge carry-on luggage again - now I know why!
I was absolutely exhausted after our late morning/early afternoon out and much of the rest of the day was spent blogging, and resting. We hadn't been down to the beach today so in the evening after dinner we rugged up a bit and headed there, to find that we were virtually the only people around. With the few clouds above us turning slightly pink, it was a beautiful sight.
