14/8 Port Bourgenay - pretty little marina/town with a wicked entrance
phil caught 2 tuna and 5 large mackerel on the way in
15/8 blowing a gale so couldnt get out, went to Mike and Kate Briggs house for the day

... and focus on Spain. This was also partly because it was £300 cheaper to get the ferry to St Malo and drive to Spain, than to get a ferry to Spain.
Of course, if we hadn't driven, we would have missed out on visiting our lovely friends Amy and Louie and kids Oscar and Rudy in Seignosse on the way! We've been harping on about coming down to visit them in the van for years and have finally made it.
