It was already past 8pm so its no wonder. We had a great meal of tapas including foie gras on toast which is geese or duck livers. Very rich and quite tasty. Banned in many countries of the world. ... set and some mountain bikes (literally everyone plays racquet ball and rides in France so we thought why not join in). Seignosse is where we spent most of our time, Dean was able to get in a few surfs and we were lucky to have some good beach days. ... before we entered these we had our last views of the Atlantic Ocean behind us.

The path down to Sare was similar but we arrived there (almost at the altitude we started off at) about eleven o'clock. We had a welcome coffee and a bit of lunch there, before going onwards...and onwards...and onwards...The tracknotes indicated a distance of 16 km for the day but it was actually 23.4 km on our faithful GPS. The notes were useful though as ...
