I do like their rubbish bins. These must be state controlled as I

Dinner itself was so good, would've easily paid the price of the hostel for the dinner alone if we had gone to a restaurant so the whole thing was dirt cheap. We then went to the ...

Lazy day in Dalat. Cool and then refreshingly wet.
While eating chicken, fish and rice for a late breakfast spotted a couple of women selling durians - the king of fruit or something disgustingly smelly depending on your taste - on the opposite side of the street. They spotted me sketching them, we waved and they came across a couple of times to check on progress (such that it was). I took ...

... the heavens opened!! We sheltered from the rain and when it eased thought we'd head back to the hostel, only to find out it hadn't eased at all and looked like drowned rats by the time we were back at our hostel. At the hostel they'd cooked dinner for us that we shared with other guests. I think some of them went out but we were so shattered we stayed in. We had a twin room, working TV and Monsters University was on, and it was still raining ...
