21 december, lange busreis voor de boeg, we laten Ho Chi Minh achter en rijden naar Da Lat, een goeie 300km en we zullen er 8uur over doen. ... on! On our final day we visited the "Crazy House" a hotel in Dalat which is basically a maze of bridges between all sorts of wild shaped buildings, there is a bit of a jungle theme going on. ... but when you're scared of heights and are told to abseil down a 25 metre high ferocious waterfall which you can't see the bottom of, having only had one shakey practice on a 10 metre dry rock face and are then told that when you're 5 metres from the bottom the rocks will disappear so on the count of 3 you have to let go of the rope and free-fall backwards into the water below... First stop is a beautiful flower farm, as one of Da Lat's famous exports.. And I can see why! They're beautiful!
From there we make our way to the coffee farm, where I am able to try the sweet coffee beans right from the tree and then a cup of worlds most expensive coffee as I sit on a patio overlooking the jungle and coffee fields. Delish!

... They have beautiful scarves and their weaving can take these women weeks to make. The local lady weaving was just beautiful and she told us the women were in the little town weaving while the men live in the mountains with their buffalo.
