De Franse invloed in de stad waren voor de Vietnamezen de reden enkele kitscherige zaken toe te voegen aan de skyline als een miniatuur Eiffel toren en een Moulin Rouge. Dalat is awesome, arrived straight away and felt better, no one asking us to buy anything. Must be people in Mountains. I tell you, try and name 3 great coastal towns there aren't any
(I know there's St Ives and others down south) but I can name 100's of mountain towns all with more friendly residents than any of the recent coastal towns Ive been to.

Feeling a lot fresher than yesterday, I woke at 8.30 this morning and quickly ran around so we could get breakfast and our laundry submitted, both of which had to be done by 9am.

Breakfast was worth the effort (especially as it's included in the room price, I am a poor backpacker remember)! Fresh coffee, bread (with real butter) and an omlette plus a fruit platter, a good start to the day!

A lot of the city sights are included in the motorbike tour we are taking ...
