To Beijing
This morning we get a later start as we take a noon train to Beijing. Many of us ambled down to the corner Starbucks, empty of anyone but our group. Apparently only the younger Chinese like coffee. I was so tempted to bring back a Starbucks Nanjing coffee cup, but my daughters told me not to bring them any clutter.

Goodbyes - students

I told them that I think they were very clever to be able to speak two languages and to have lessons in English, they said how they were nervous to speak English at first. I reminded them how they'd all cheered when I told them it was my first time in China and that they were my first class.
The meal was great - there was tons of food and I tried a couple of new things to eat!!...... Still my favorite was the peanuts in chilli.
