About a minute later our safety bars shot up and we were instructed to get out and wait. There were "technical difficulties" to do with the rain. ...

All in all an experience of a lifetime. So blessed, I can't contain ...

The tour left at 8.30 so no sleeping in but what the heck my body clock still not quite there and waking early anyway. Our guide was Kathy and she was great. We had a 1 hour bus ride to the Kennedy Space center (ksc hereafter). Florida is amazingly flat! It remains hot and humid and we were grateful for the air conditioned bus. saw a few wading birds and the snout & eyes of an alligator in the waterways beside the road on the way. Kathy in her spiel ...

... odds of that? Two families of four, both with the same Mum's name, both at the same restaurant at the same time! When I booked the holiday, we got free Disney Dining with our accommodation. We get a table service meal, a counter service meal and a snack for each day of our stay, but we can use them at any time and in any order. I didn't take the opportunity to pay a little to upgrade to the premium plan to three table service meals a day as that sounded too ...
