... We then walked past the Bellagio, which is opposite the hotel and watched a fountain display, we have seen many already but each time it's spectacular. We then walked down to New York. Took bloody ages. Heat was so intense. Si had a funny turn! Luckily Vegas is built in such a way that each hotel is connected so you can walk a lot of the strip in air conditioning.Eventually got there, our second choice hotel and we're glad we were at the Paris. New York is very tacky ...

We stayed at Sam's Town, a casino and RV resort, fairly close to where we drop the Winnie off. Refreshed, we had buffet dinner in Sam's Town, and then gambled hard feeding $10 into a 1c slot machine. It would have been great to camp overnight at the base but you have to book it a long way ahead again - so difficult to plan all these things when you don’t have exact dates, so we keep missing out.
