We got out about 5pm and headed back to the main road and jumped back on a baht bus back to the beach then had to change to another one back to Walking Street. We headed straight back to the room for a shower and chill out before heading out for some pad thai. Hey lovelies,

Sorry for lack of posts recently, I've been rubbish!

So I was down in the lovely (when I say lovely, I mean the opposite) Pattaya for just under a week living with a Thai lady named Mrs Noi and her family; they were all great and really treated us as part of the family. I arrived on the Saturday, was shown to my room, met the two other volunteers and then we were taken out to a floating market.

... staff make the eggs how you like them, an omelette station where staff make you omelettes, a noodle station with curries too, a fruit station with fruit salads, yoghurts and fresh chunks of fruit, a waffle and pancake station, a bakery station with rolls and pastries, and a sushi and sashimi station. ... their parents who are working away at their street vendor cart selling shizz on sticks or tom yum concoctions. it's a bit sad to see. the city's fairly dirty and not at all a "metropolis". most buildings stay 30 stories and there's barely a sky line which we're all too familiar with when we think of "international cities". therefore, at best, a second-third tier int'l city.
