... At first I thought it was trash, but it was actually a mussel and oyster farm! They had ropes attached to all those bottles, and shellfish will attach to them. So they just pull up a bottle and fill a bucket - book, dinner is served. We had garlic fried softshell crab, breaded shrimp, shrimp salad, peppered crab, and of course rice. So Pattaya..we were warned! Still, we wanted to see for ourselves, how bad could it be? Well, yes it was awful but then again we had such a laugh that it's hard to say we wasted time or regret going. ... on the weekend we went to the Chatachuk Market, 35 acres of stalls, heaven for me, I'm surprised how well Will coped, the next day while Will rested i went to Pratanum market (wholesale clothing) it was extremely chaotic and i only spent about $15, we found a great food court about 5 mins away from hotel, weve eaten everything from maccas to wonton soup with duck and noodles, yummo.
