Today I emailed with a friend in Jakarta. I hope she can help me finding our pembantu (Indonesian for Maid) Sammie. It would be nice if we could meet with her again. Today we left to ride on the dikes where the river once flowed and is now greenery with farms, bird sanctuaries. We stopped for apple pies and coffee, a daily morning activity. First whole day of biking over dikes and through farmland. Typical Netherlands scenes very green and large healthy animals. Stopped at a farm for lunch where fresh cherry pie was served.
