    ... pig testicles, the poor guy blurred out NO, Oh NO Sir! Still are not sure what they are. Tomorrow we are headed to Holten Cemetery to visit Corporal Edward Demeria's grave stone. Gordon and Edward were both in the Seaforth Highlanders and got to be great friends. Gordon, being one of the taller guys carried the Bren Gun, and Mr Demeria was a smaller guy and carried the ammunition, and when Gordon was hurt and was recuperating in Salerno, Italy he lost touch ...

    ... Shikoku, up to Kyushu, the southern island. We'll fly, float and take many trains. But above all, we'll probably walk a lot. And the food ;) 4 weeks of fish festivities ;) ramen, kaiseki, sushi, tempura, okonomiyaki, bento box, shabu-shabu, ... And we will often not know for sure that what we eat is what we think it is :) Exciting ...

    Ken went one way and I went the other. The town was mistakenly bombed by the Allied Forces and the Allied Forces mainly Americans were defeated here 1800 Americans died. The only old places that survived were the church and the merchants building. Ken went to Arnhem, to see the museum about the battle of the "Bridge to Far". There was a wonderful museum and also a well kept Commonwealth Grave Cemetery. It was amazing the deep thanks the Dutch still have for the 1st British Airborne ...

    ... complete with the worlds coolest beer glass. Lets hope it makes it back in one piece via mail. Dinner was a feast, a delicious hot plate BBQ with pancakes for desert. Not just any pancakes, but Jojannekkes special; nettle cheese with Stroop (maple syrup).
