    Outside of the Gardens we decided to abandon the Munich tour and head to Lowenbrau Keller, the last remaining "Bier City" in Munich. Now properly lazy for the afternoon Gab had us work it off with a walk down to the residence - but we never made it, eventually declaring ourselves lost it was Uber to the rescue for the second time in one day - taking us back to pick up the hire car.

    ... how awesome it would be to work there someday on an overseas assignment. After this trip I really hope that is in the cards. Our hotel is beautiful and a very close walk to the station. The location gave us a great way to branch out and explore the city. We walked to the Marienplatz.     ... fun. Kids and us have seen a lot of different things. Even Alice has seen a lot of Munich she has never seen.
    If I don't post again, it's been a pleasure & hope it hasn't been boring. When I think about it there was only one photo of food. on the whole trip. Some people post pictures of their meals every day. Why? Who cares? So thank me for that.
    Farewell till Alice takes us away again. She did a great job organising it.

    Mark and I woke up at 5:30 this morning, which is a vast improvement from 3:30 the previous night. Our gurgling stomachs' reminding us that it was about dinner time back home.
