... the town of Breda, which is where the family lives. Lots of outdoor cafes, of course, so Jan wanted to stop there for one last wine al fresco after a couple of hours of sightseeing. ... railway station and it only holds 1/3 of the bikes! I think the guide said there are 500,000 bikes in Amsterdam.... And the population of the city is 750,000. ( It might have been the other way round. ) And they are such basic bikes... No gears. Because the whole country is flat. But they do have bells! And they use them. There are special bike routes and they have priority. Not much time ...
