      ... the fine weather. We wandered through the Binnenhof- the Dutch parliament and over to the Escher Museum. We had fun having our photo taken in the crazy house with the optical illusion.

      ... suites, others just had the two beds in. The best hotel was the Cliffrose Lodge in Zion…it was a beautiful hotel with lovely gardens, a nice pool and a beautiful view. The room at La Jolla was also great as it was actually more of an apartment than a room so we had lots of space as well as a lovely deck that looked out over the pool and the sea.       ... afternoon on the no 5 tram, to go back to Amsterdam Zuid. I wasn't really watching but all of a sudden it appeared that we were not on the usual route. I took more interest and found we had gone quite a different way. On a bus that might not matter, but on a tram it certainly does.
