    ... bacon, cheese, tomatoes, and onions. We were at tables near the city center, and we were able to see on the large screen that all of the bicyclists had already made it to rainy Rotterdam. Later, we decided to bike around the city on the way to the train station. As soon as we were maybe half a mile from the train station, it started raining and hailing on us.It was so hard to see, and I had to keep blinking to avoid rain and ice getting into my eyes.

    ... pump, which didn't work anymore. We figured out the pump itself actually works, but the switch that controls it is broker. So we rewired the pump with a new switch inside the car. Problem solved!

    Next up was the clutch which we felt was quite 'soft'. Being a mechanical clutch, we could do some tweaking. Now the clutch engages nicely 'in the middle' when releasing the pedal.

    ... saw a bargain so grabbed Simon to come to the stall where there was a gift set of 1 Duval glass and 4 bottles of Duval, best Belgian beer (in a shop in Antwerp they sold for €27) the stall only wanted €4 for it, it was the quickest sale they made all day. We went back to ST and had lunch before carrying on into Utrecht.

Despite the extra ks we did and the rather leisurely pace we rode at, we were in Leiden dropping off our bikes and luggage by 12:15pm (the 3pm check-in was enforced today).
