On somewhat of a whim we have decided to venture into Milan for the day. None of us have ever been here before, so its a new experience for all.

The day started beautifully with a large number of people Para-sailing and sailing about on Lake Como this morning. Very nice thing to wake up to. After breakfast we left this lovely place and, with our GPS friend made our way into Milano.

We know that there is no parking in the city centre, we also know ...

We have swum every day (which is good for me because the swim is my weakest leg), ridden and ran every second day and met the rest of the elite squad who have all been very welcoming. The riding in the area is very flat with some nice sections through towns and fields but we are always forced to turn onto main, busy and boring roads as we ...

... the chance to attend but its influence is all over the city. Everything is clean and many public works projects were completed to get ready for Expo. The city has a vibe which is very cool and a great place to people watch. The women and men dress impressively well. Style seems to be everywhere as is art. The cafes were lively and the restaurants we visited were very good. However, after leaving Tuscany, we did suffer some "sticker shock". The wine we were ...

Our final morning the bags were outside our room by 7:00 AM and down to breakfast at 7:15. The waiters were wearing white tuxedos this morning, but I left the camera in the room so no picture of them. We boarded the bus at 8:00 for one hour ride to the Milan airport, Malpensa Arpt-Milan. We arrived around 9:15 and proceeded to the passport check. Then ...
