Golden Tulip Hotel Crivi's Milan

... in Milan around 10:30 and I wasn't expecting how cold it was compared to Spain.  I figured out how to get to my hostel where I would have to crash for the night before heading to my final destination Chiusi.  I had to take a rickety old tram to the ghetto of Milan and walk a few blocks to find it.  The place was pretty empty and quiet and actually kind of nice.  They put me in a room with four beds and only one taken by a South American guy.  I slept heavily that night.

Went for drinks at Frank's Bar which Patrick who owns the hotel recommended. Turned out to be a pretty trendy cocktail joint
where you pay for your drink at 1 place then get it at another. 10 Euro for a beverage no matter what you had so naturally I ordered a long island ice tea!!!

Went to the famous La Scala, but we couldn't go inside as they werehaving a rehearsal at the time and unlike the Vienna Opera House couldn't get cheap standing tickets for a performance and wander freely around the inside at the same time.

... a wonderful place for relaxation, especially when the temperature is 30 degrees Celsius. There was a pond with ducks, people sleeping on the benches and people who were on the beach. Tired from the walk, we decided to have a snack in a typical Italian restaurant - pizza and pasta. ... flight, we literally bumped into Milan.  Some people laughed going "Oh, Ryanair!" while the rest of us inexperienced flyers almost had our stomachs come out of our mouths.   This is where the fun begins.  We come out of the plane delirious (it's night time) and we decide to take the bus (which drove on the RIGHT side of the street! But it felt so weird...) to Milan station which ends up being an hour ride.  We get to the station, and instead ...

... with his pizza and sat next to us...he was so funny and odd and cute and geeky at the same time. and a little bit spazzy. so he starts talking and i am like he sounds American but has a slight accent. ask where he is from. Norway, but now works in Switzerland, but lived in the Arizona for many years when he was young. and he kept saying like when he talked and the mixture of accents was so comical. i told him i could tell he had some American experience in him with his like...hahah ...

After Istanbul and Rome... even Venice looked dull .. so what do you say about Milan!

Though we did go to see the famous Leonardo Da Vince's Last Supper. For the nerds likes me, let me tell you that the painting is not on a canvas but on the wall of the church (don't remember the name of the church) ... the experience was Wow... it almost felt that you were having dinner with Jesus and his group .. its costs about 25Euro per person ...

... to call Maya in the morning and see if she can call the client from that casting to see if I left it, but the casting was at a different location, a place the client rented for the casting. So if the client does not have it, I hope the rented studio does. If they do not, I am screwed. Keep me in your prayers!!! Anyhow, that was today.
