    ... and over the Binnendieze water into the centre. Wednesday is one of two market days so there were stalls everywhere in the Markt.     The building of the Afslitdijk not only allowed more land to be reclaimed, it also helped to control storm surges by reducing the exposed coastline.     It was a very cool experience to be in the Netherlands for the World Cup game! It was such an exciting to be able to watch the game with all of the locals and especially great that they won!
