... to the train station and says "get on train"... so we head to the train station and after much confusion we are told that yes there is a train to Zagreb but it doesn't leave for another 2 1/2 hours.. So we sit in the train station that looks like a murder just occurred and we wait on our broken wooden chairs until our train arrives..who knows if this is even going to take us to Zagreb... But it does after 2 more ours on the train:) ...

... in the US. The scenery is gorgeous. It is like a postcard. Rolling, multi-green colored hills with fir trees. The houses are scattered along the hills at various elevations. Great ski and hiking country. Now I know why the people we see are in such good shape. All ages ride bicycles. At Dobova, just inside Croatia, the Policija boarded the train for a passport check, our first on the entire trip. ...

On the train Ljubljana to Zagreb - It gives you an idea of how nice the countryside is.

... an easy familiarity as if we had been away for a vacation as opposed to a fifty year absence. Edi strode through town like a whirlwind with Robyn, Mirna, Mak and me in tow. we stopped for a nice-cream and a beer; the first of many! A traditional Croatian restaurant was booked but we did not know who was coming.
