... these shops everywhere. Then back to our hotel to sample their coffee. Annette's wasn't hot and my explanation of my requirements resulted in a tiny strong coffee that did have milk.

Back to the room to intercept a call from Suzanne and John. They are very concerned about my health - rather my weight from indulging in all the treats. I assured them that all is under control and that I will be visiting Jenny on my return! Also, we won't have ...

Travelling With Your Significant Other

I've found over the past few days that there are many benefits to travelling with your girlfriend (or boyfriend, as the case may be). When you get a cabin on a train, people will be reluctant to intrude and disturb you. When you want to go to the bathroom, you have someone to hold your bags. Zagreb airport is small, functional and has a lovely park proving to be a good introduction to the city. The main route to town has a number of green spaces as well. On fact Zagreb itself is a lovely city with parks, promenades and beautiful old buildings. It's small enough ...

... Museum, I don't recommend it, your questions will not be fulfilled. I was quite disappointed to find more of an art gallery of paintings, mostly of soldiers during the First World War; perhaps worth a look but as it just wasn't what I was seeking.

The most interesting buildings, streets and marks of history can be found in the Upper town. Historic St Mark's Square is home to the 13th century St Mark's Church photographed for its ...
