OK so the tickets are booked to Bangkok, vaccinations done, couple of hotels booked, lots of on line research completed. Soon time to think about packing - the worse bit!

Amazing to be Back Home Again!
The flight is ok, I have seat # 3 F at the very front and it takes off at 15.35 exactly on time. Landing takes an hour and twenty minutes so there is time for a snack and some coffee on board the plane.
I am lucky to have my house close to the airport in Larnaca so there is no time loss. As soon as the plane lands I make a call to tell my sister ...
North Cyprus adventure - day 2
... this time, picking up the same dual carriageway and heading in the opposite direction, drive for quite a time, before turning off on to the mountain pass. The road was steep but i was rewarded with some beautiful mountain views.
Found my way into Kyrenia, but found the lack of signs made it impossible to find anything, after driving around for a while i called it a day and headed back, pleased with myself for finding my way and lasting longer than the day before.

Intrepid explorer
... began, i couldnt work out where i was going, there were no signs and was fast running out of petrol, so found a garage, handed over some Turkish lira, not having too much of a clue how much petrol it would buy and had the car filled.
Strategically i turned back and came back, my courage had deserted me and i just wanted to get back to a place i recognised.
