... inside one of the buildings. It was a really good day although my hay fever kicked in and my nose started to drip constantly. We walked around the gardens for about 4 hours as there was so much to see. After we had finished at the garden went and found our hotel in Eemhof, which I must admit is a pretty awesome hotel because it has a climbing wall, a hydro slide, laser tag and 25 other things to do! ... district. For anyone who has been to Amsterdam before would know that not too much goes on during the day but there were still some interesting characters in a few of the windows. I couldn't help but laugh because I felt so bad looking! Everyone has told me that even though that area is seedy, it's one of those things you just have to see. We also stopped at a cheese farm; the farmer was telling us that cheese made by farmers in the Netherlands isn’t allowed to be exported, only the stuff that is made in factories and mass-produced is allowed. The farmer had about 40 cows whose milk was used to make his cheese, which was delicious! He also made clogs, the Netherlands’ famous shoes, for extra income.
