We awoke to a beautiful day. Chris walked up to the camp shop and bought fresh croissants and lovely bread, what a great start to the day!
Replete we headed off to Lisse, about 20 minutes from where we are staying. This is where the beautiful Keukenhof Gardens are situated, covering 32 hectares! We parked yo and headed into the gardens with a stream of other visitors. The gardens are planted from September each year with 7million bulbs, half ...

We had a fun filled day and caught an early night, ready for the rest of a crazy ...

My next destination was... well, its hard to say. I didn't really have one. I've said many times before that 'you can't be lost if you have no destination' and I figure that applied aptly this afternoon. I probably looked lost, my nose in a map trying to figure out ...

Time to find some good Gouda!

A travel blog entry by uncleneno on Aug 24, 2013

Kerri and Rachel have a 10 hour lay over so they are planning to go into town. Landed with a little delay due to a late start in Amsterdam on the way in due to weather. Still have 2 plus hours layover. Turns out I could not find any Gouda but as it turns put, I had another "God Wink" moment as our flight had Edam in the first meal which came from Holland and was ...
