... Queirolo. Welcoming old school tavern near Plaza San Martin, lots of locals enjoying pisco sours, very good lunch, fairly priced for the quality.
- Costazul Seafood. One of my favorite restaurants of the trip. Small family owned, best ceviche I've had, perfect for lunch in Miraflores.
- Twist Burger Bar. After all Peruvian food I was ready for a traditional burger and Twist delivered. Lots of burger choices, good beer selection, great little joint in Barranco.

Sitio Huaca Pucllana is made of mud bricks. It doesn’t rain ever in Lima so you don’t need to make ancient historical sites out of stone there, save the effort for building Cusco where it does rain. People, human beings, ancestors, have been smarter than we give them credit for a long time. The bricks are a little bit diagonal too; this helps the structure survive earthquakes.
