Strolling the beautiful tree lined avenues of Miraflores it is clear that owning a dog is popular here. All ages, shapes, sizes (that's the dogs and their owners), difficult not to smile when seeing such a terrific array of adorable pets.

... I watched the Denver-Indiana playoff game, drinking Peruvian beer with a Parisian and listening to Americans whoop it up with each play. Priceless. All in all my time in Miraflores was good; relaxing, did some journaling and lots of walking. And officially kicked off my triathlon training (slowly and not intensely). I was rather relived to arrive at Lima, even more thankful when there was next to no wait to clear through immigration, collect our bags and go through customs. I was less greatful that Lima choose to greet us with traffic. Deep thick crazy confusing traffic all the way to our hotel in Miraflores.
