... a great location in the middle of the Miraflores district. As Lima is known for its incredible restaurants we were looking forward to sampling the cuisine. Unfortunately, after looking through our guidebook, and TripAdvisor, most of the good restaurants served seafood and ceviche. So that evening, we went to Guru, a Pakistani run Indian restaurant, for a spicy fix.

... at Chipotle (a more amazing version of Madmex). We didn't do too much because we will back in LA in 4 months on our way home so we just sussed everything out ready for our return :)
Our flight to Lima was at 7.30am on Monday, we had to catch the shuttle to the airport at 4am, which would have all been fine, IF THE SHUTTLE TURNED UP! Luckily one of the people working at the hostel was awake, made some phone calls, helped us out and we eventually ...
... Saturday, you can go to the park and adopt them. Then, we walked along a main road to the beach and then back to the hotel.
There were a few others from the group who were in the lobby an we visited with them before heading up to our room for a shower and a quick nap.
Our transportation to the airport picked us up at 10 pm and our flight home was at 1:20 ...
... Luckily enough we were shattered, and managed to sleep through a sizeable amount of it! On arrival to Peru we were greeted by our driver, who took us to our hotel, giving us a few shocks on the way, including stopping by a hostel in downtown Lima!! When we were dropped off we were pleasantly surprised, with a beautiful lobby, dining room, and clean room After a short nap, we went out to explore the area of Miraflores in Lima, which is a very vibrant ...
... and then to the cinema for the first time in ages and watched 'The Wolf on Wall Street'.
Tuesday 4th February - Day 133
Up until now we've delayed buying souvenirs because of the practical issues that come with living out of just one bag. But the colourful wares of Peru have been too hard to resist and we decided we'd just buy an extra to put everything in! That's all I'll say ...
