Copa airlines is where it's at! Even though we were greater with our favourite thing in Brazil -waiting in lines, copa was probably the best airline we've been on so far. Our check in man was lovely and even knew the type of food on offer on our flight.

... the airport on time and ready for our 10 hour flight via El Salvador to Lima town.
We arrived in Lima at 8.30pm that night, while waiting for our luggage we heard our names being paged over the speaker in a sexy South American accent. It wasn't so sexy when they told us our bags had been left in El Salvador and will be delivered to our hotel in the morning.

... different sandwiches (one chicken and one roast beef) to split so we'd have a taste of two kinds and we ordered what were probably the best french fries I've ever had to accompany the sandwiches (which were also delicious). The four of us took our dinner to the local park across the street to enjoy the beautiful evening and eat outside on the grass - a Pervian picnic. ... but not necessarily the most touristy! Nevertheless we settled down for what turned out to be one of the nicest chicken and chips we've ever had, and a little wander after this, led us onto a open top bus ride around the town. A tiring first few days with the travelling, but love the area and a lot more exploring to be done tomorrow, with a beach visit scheduled!
