Santorini. You don't see that everyday. Let me first get the bad over with. After seeing postcard quality pictures all your life, I guess everything has a hard time living up to expectations. What you see in those pictures of the white walls and blue roofs is one or two certain places in probably Fira or Oia at a certain angle that happens to capture a couple of churches (because they are the only ones with a blue roof)...and of course they're on ...

There was also the option of taking a donkey ride down the slope, but Lisa advised we'd smell like sh@t for a week, and the steep path makes it very uncomfortable to stay on the donkey's back! We had to call the dude out and he said there was a small part inside that had sheared off. He said it would be quick to fix, but he would have to take it back to the garage. Luckily he brought a replacement and we carried on without a hitch.

We arrived at Perissa beach ...

... were men marching together banging metal on metal - anything they could find, walking down the streets and the bar gave them free shots. We said our goodbyes and then went to find the bus stop. Lots of stray animals, which made me quite sad. Lots had things wrong with them. Caught the bus back and then went to Mumma's one last time for chocolate soufflé. Gave Mumma a big hug and went home with sore bellies. Early to ...
