          ... are monks that live there. However, we got to see a kitty cat on the grounds. Of course I had to pet the kitty. We then drove down the peak to Pyrgos. We saw a lot of vineyards on our drive. They were all on the ground twisted into a basket form. Our tour guide said they are kept this way on the island to protect them from the high north winds.           Our hotel owner had given us several tips when we first arrived and he had warned us that many of the restaurants with a view would be more expensive and not because the food was better. Well, he was right in this case. Not great food, but food, and we did love the view.

          ... a place that looked like it was quality. It was perched on the side of the hill, overlooking the ocean and out to the islands beyond, it was beauty beyond words. The food didn't disappoint either. Dane ordered a stuffed squid and I ordered my favourite Greek meal again, moussaka. It ended up being the best moussaka that I ate the whole time that I was in Greece and Dane's squid was superb!
