... some pictures. While walking we through a wooded area we saw more capybara and our guide showed us a fruit that when crushed it turned your skin blue and a vine that you cut and could drink water from. Luckily our next stop looked to be just as cool and was just over half a day's drive ...

The woman at the bus station understood my lame attempt at Portuguese to book the bus tickets so that was a bonus. Then we had to work out how to tell the hotel that we were only staying one night. Tears were shed as Caroline and I bid each other farewell, I could not ask for a more lovely friend and I am so glad that everything is falling into place for her and her family in Curitiba. It would be really strange being back on the road travelling solo again after feeling so at home. ...
