      ... set up with low tables and large cushions & carpets everywhere. The food was pretty tasty - traditional Arabic food, plenty to choose from. I wasn't so sure of the Okra curry - as the texture was a little mushy haha...but other than that it was delicious :-). Surprisingly enough they had a bar too - so we thought we should partake in our first holiday drink so Heinekens it was!

      Time differences and directions travelled made for sitting around in transit lounges and long hours in the air. Emirates Economy a class above the average, friendly flight attendants, three course meals and another Irishman (number 2). He prepared some fresh lotus leaves with a fusion of fruits and spices for us to try and they were scrumptious - a wonderful, subtle blend of aromatic and spicy flavours, with a real hiccup inducing kick at the end (I told him to emphasise the Chilli's!).
