... on the other side of the city, and we did not realize until the plane isn't going in the right direction haha. Its funny how you look at a place because i knew it was a desert but not until you fly in and all you see is sand and buildings. ... really have missed you - especially the heat :) Maybe it's because I'm lazy and enjoy getting a taxi everywhere? Maybe it's the beaches and my 5*. Hotel? Maybe it's the shopping? Maybe it's the heat? Maybe it's the fact I don't feel threatened? Maybe it's bloody all of those reasons!! Got into my hotel at 2am Dubai time, 6am Sydney time! Basic and serving the purpose of spending one night in. Dubai before flying home. Pining ...

... Paris wins hands down....always will

Prettiest place we stayed at - tie between Aix-Les-Bains and Alpe d'Huez

Most annoying experience - very, very ordinary service in a number of shops and restaurants especially in Paris. This hasn't improved. I am certain some of these guys believe they are doing the customer a favour to actually serve you.

We won't be staying here again - Wishing Well Hotel, Selby, ...
