Hench the city is long and thin, coastline real estate is at premium here. If your hoping to get around on foot, forget it, Dubai is not designed for pedestrians, there is a public transport system, but being relatively new, its doesn't serve much of the city. Had the Dubai safari today. Most amazing experience I've had to date!
