... both planes we had people in front of us who were very quick to recline their seat, and slow to put it back up for meals. The blonde woman in front of Dianne on the first leg was definitely of the “born to rule” persuasion. The attendants must really enjoy people like this. The second leg was uneventful, with a meal of Pork Neck and noodles, and iron-hard ice cream to finish.

TaiShan is actually not the highest mountain in China, probably not even close, around 1.5km above sea level. It's the perfect hike for a day hike, only 4 hours from base to summit. This will be our last day in Tai'an.

We spent the morning practicing for the afternoon ceremonies and students had a good last chance to hang out with their Chinese counterparts. While the morning was pretty low key the afternoon was anything but.

I apologize for the lack of photos I finally have some time to add some to each post as the past few days have been quite busy as we end our time in Tai'an.

The kids had their own day out with their Chinese counterparts so unfortunately I don't have any stories from them. But from what I have gathered we had kids go swimming, go to KFC, make dumplings and a whole slew of different things. The kids all had a great time and many of them said it was their best day yet.

Teachers went for a big lunch with the school teachers and then went to take a rest.
