... large Woolworth's store where Jill bought some trainer socks as her feet were already starting to hurt! Once we got to Carlton we stopped at Brunettis which was another Alex recommendation. We stopped for a very filling coffee and cake where Jill spotted her new favourite shop 'Country Road' which provided both good clothes shopping and a 'country road take me home' sing along every time we walked past a store from then on. I woke up excited because we were going to Dreamworld again. My plan was to do all the thrill rides. The first ride we wanted to go on was the Tower of Terror 2 but it was broken down. We have also bought ourselves a camping stove so Allan (the barista) can make coffee when we visit with Chris. It is lovely to sit outside in the sunshine and enjoy proper coffee without the huge expense.

Hopefully next week there will be some activity.

Completion date is still the 2nd ...

Remember what I wrote yesterday about Esplanade in Cairns, The Strand in Townsville and South Bank Parklands in Brisbane? Here we are again. We are now at Rockpool in Broadwater at Australia’s Gold Coast. A water playground for the children with huge umbrellas ...
