          Overnight stop in a great town

          ... going to work. After talking with a local on the radio we pulled into the Provision Company docks. Free overnight if you dine at their place.
          Worked out well since they had the best shrimp around; that was an easy lunch and dinner stop.
          town is easy to walk in an afternoon. Which we did during my 2 hour long lunch break.

          ... boring white cooler behind the bar. the bar itself has a maze of odd rooms to hang out in. One was a dark living room with old sofas and chairs and a big screen TV. Then around the corner a sandy outdoor space with corn hole games. picnic tables; and weird water falls with gaudy fish statues.

          In North Carolina we stayed in the lovely town of Wilmington which is situated on Cape Fear River. The surrounding estuaries and tidal lagoons team with lovely wildlife and the town itself is home to the Museum of Bizarre which Bella and Freddie loved. See pictures.           ... for punishment and not knowing the times of the buses, we walked our way home. We were glad to see it and the fridge was raided without delay. Well not quite, how did the cricket end?
