With the tide status of the Cape FEAR river, dictating our schedules, for both today and tomorrow. We have no intention or desire to go out in anything but favorable conditions. This is a luxury only those without schedules can live with. Passed over the South Carolina marker(an Osprey nest)and back to NC. We are at the is ...

      A nice slice of NC

We just happened to drive through there really ...

I litterally began falling asleep while everyone else was wide awake. I didn't talk or barely listen, I felt pretty pitiful...Then it started to rain... we all huddled in the car wet and uncomfortable waiting for it to pass, but then a gust ...

Again this year, we planned a beach day followed by fireworks in the
Wilmington area to celebrate 4th of July. This year, we headed down a
day early to squeeze in a little more beach time. I worked a half-day
on Tuesday and left around lunch time for the drive down to Carolina
Beach. We had some fast food for a quick dinner then headed ...
