The golden sand inn is an excelent hotel to stay in Phuket. Its rught by the beach and the cabanas we stayed were really nice. The only lack attention to details such as the garden and cleaninness

... hot noel burnt the back of his neck. I slept for a couple of hours then we made use of the pool and booked our hotels for the next couple of days. We went for dinner at a local place at the end of the road from our hotel. It was all cooked on the BBQ. It was amazing!! The chicken breast was huge and juicy and with the mushroom pepper sauce it was so yummy! We walked for ice cream then headed 'home' for beers and bed ...

... us our dress code of beach attire straight from Phuket is fine, so we sit down and order. My goodness the food was amazing. The wait staff gave us the total silver service treatment. This place was equivalent of a 2 Hat restaurant in Sydney in terms of food quality, presentation and service. Could not fault it at all. The manager Best came and chatted with us on several occasions and we told him we were celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary. At the end of our main meal he ...

After a bit more of a walk we had dinner and headed back to our resort in a tuk ...

... get us drinks, drove us back to our hotel, offered to come to hospital with us to translate if we decided to go (we didn't), didn't charge us for the day (almost $200!), and allowed us to come back the next day! Amazing! They even assigned us the same elephant, so I was able to take care of Lucky the next day! I fell in love with her the 1 hour I spent with her and was bummed I was too ill to stay, so that was great! The experience was unreal. We learned to check ...
