i have however been out for a massage which was hillarious. i didnt realise my legs stretched that far. we had fun which is good .
i have the day off tomorrow which is unexpected i didnt realise it was a holiday so i can chil out some more. then ill be in the welfare centre doing my bit and get to cuddle loads of lovely babies yeah.

Exciting Times in China and a Foot Massage

I (helen) had never experienced the massage in china - i had a lovely young chinese chap with very firm hands- i was a bit daunted by the inner thigh and buttock bit - he told me to stop giggling and relax (very masterful)! I am slightly concerned that tomorrow i may feel like i've been beaten up rather than massaged and possibly be a little bruised!

Day one in Sanmenxia 28 degrees - hot!
We were so tired last night. Fell into bed at midnight and woke at 7am ready for our visit to the welfare centre with the team. It felt great to be part of an ICC team again even though it was their last day.Its very different here to Hengyang, but still the same issues, lack of resources and skills that lead to suffering and hardship.

... even asked for our photographs with Chinese tourists. Later we met with Mei’s friend who has very good English and Dr Zhang cooked us a huge meal. He knows I like Jiaozi so I had to eat lots. It wasn’t until we got dropped at the station that we realised that Mei had fed us with some kind of black bean fermentation which is also a wonderful laxative............................the re were a few worried glances exchanged while we waited in the queue!

Le temps n’est pas génial mais ça va quand même !
Je monte dans le téléphérique après avoir longuement hésité à monter à pied mais je manque de temps. Cela est bien dommage car il y avait des photos magnifique à faire je pense !
L’automne est vraiment une splendide saison pour la variété de couleur ...
