    K spent along time discussing their way of life, and their handicraft skills, whilst M was happy to annoy the greedy elephant, who whilst standing in the river had learnt that if he swung his trunk up to the bridge he would get fed by passing tourists.

    There is only one thing on my mind today - Franki's 60th birthday. It is a huge milestone whatever she may say. How the hell can I be creative and treat her in this half horse town? Kiang Doi cafe came to my rescue and thankfully it was the first hurdle overcome. Delicious banana pancakes and a shot of Americano coffee for me and Lipton tea for Franki.
