Las Vegas - what a shock to the senses after the serenity of the National Parks we have been visiting. The sounds, the sights, the scale, the smells - the people, the waste,and the extravegance. Due to the train and connecting bus schedule we were doing to arrive at night again. But this time I was pleased. When we found our way to our bus there were only 3 other passengers. After busy delayed trains, it made a nice change. The bus driver seemed like a cool guy, so we asked him if there was any chance we could be dropped off at our hotel and not the bus depot.
