... items that had been delivered by ship. I could smell meat being cooked, and I saw tables upon tables of fresh game being offered to all the people in the market. I also saw the a large variety of fruits and vegetables, of which I purchased yellow peaches and raisins. Upon walking through the rest of the market I purchased yards upon yards of quality Chinese silks for very cheap, most likely because I purchased them ...

After a few weeks we have finally arrived in Hangzhou. It is by far the most beautiful city I have come across yet! From everything including many of the Buddhists such as Lingyin (which had a giant gold statue of the Buddha and tons of wood carvings), and the Liuhe Pagoda, (which does not seem to be as impressive after seeing the Iron Pagoda, but it is still a sight to behold), to the West Lake, (which puts the Five ...

... little group. One guy took a picture with Russ (much to his surprise) but Lichy told him he had to pay 5 kuai for a picture. A few other groups stopped and were staring so she has started telling people that if they want pictures with or of us they have to pay 5 kuai. We lucked out and caught our bus back home. Now its time to finish some homework and study for a quiz tomorrow! It seems that we only have these long adventures the night before a quiz!

... We talked for a little bit and he asked me to email him my resume, internship expectations, and schedule. Hopefully he’ll help me find an internship. Keep my situation in your prayers. My advisor was supposed to have found me an internship before I came to China. Oh well, when in China you just got to go with the flow cause in every situation the sun comes out eventually. I’ll talk to you all another day in China!
