We stopped at the port of Corfu. The only way to really get around the island is to take an excursion. At least it was for us. We were going to see a Monastery in the village of Palaiokastritsa and to the village of Gastouri to visit the 19th century Achilleion Palace.

I walk up to the woman in question; 6’’2’, blonde hair, blue eyes, slim yet sporty, a complete stranger yet the new love of my life. With a slow and cumbersome gulp I swallow my pride and tap her on the shoulder, leaning in 90% of the way towards her mouth as she turns…laughter and repulsion is her response and ...

... going into port at a small traditional fishing village called Petreti. There wasn’t much there but we had a great dinner that night with Greek salad, bread, Tzatziki dip and I ordered snapper. I wasn’t really impressed with the food. The fish wasn’t too bad but had too many bones for my liking and the chips were done the Greek way with lots of oil and not crunchy at all. The Zorba dancing afterwards though was a lot ...
