    Took a beautiful drive over to the coastal area of Holkham. This is a beautiful area and I even put my feet in the North Sea. One more place where my feet have hit the water. I even got something for my good friend Lynn. You have to walk a long way to the shore, but it is worth it. ...

    ... It was quite sunny so we enjoyed our lunch in their outdoor area along with many others.including a number of dogs. We find it really strange that dogs are allowed in pubs, restaurants, shops and trains.

    Unfortunately our weekend was over and we had to catch the train back to London. It was lovely to finally meet Sue, Richard and Tom. They were very generous hosts and we had a great time. We hope we can return their hospitality one day.

    ... we've been away. Fish and chips for dinner really went down well. Kirsten and Paolo popped in later to pick up Jack. They are staying at the Caravan for the bank holiday.

    ... We stopped at Fort William to buy some lunch for the road and to stop and buy some souvenirs. I came across a brother and sister doing the cart and were chatting to them for a while. They were really nice, said there neighbouring congregation was the Skye congregation which is 2 hours away and it takes over 1 year to cover their territory.
