    The exchange rate is crazy. An expensive day here is about AUD$20, and that includes clothes shopping, food, transport, shisha and plenty of beer. As students, we all needed to register with the police in order to get the legal documentation that will let us leave the country without getting arrested. Our monetary lubrication to ensure a speedy process was about $25 each. So easily done!

    ... inside but I took a few pictures of the 3 small surrounding temples. Located in a valley and surrounded by the forest, Ranakpur is not even a village. A shop just in front of the bus stand, a government hotel a bit further, and then the temple. That's it. On the other side of the road, a pond (etang), packed by crocodiles! I had been told they often come out just after sunrise for their daily sunbath, but no luck on next day, I haven't seen them.
