... went smoothly and we got checked into our hotel in Kowloon. Late as it was, we went out for supper and the streets were still full of people, but a whole different feel. Cars stopped at red lights, we heard English spoken and read English signs! We had a great day Saturday – shopping, walking and enjoying the sun that we could see in the blue sky. ... hotel. The weather finally cleared in the evening, so we went down to watch the light show in Victoria harbour. The best place to see it is from the avenue of stars which is on our side of Hong Kong. We got down there only to find it was earth hour today where they turn off all the lights for an hour, this meant they had cancelled the light show too!! Really not our day ...

... with Goofy :) .. Aww he is just so cute. We then moved on to the chipmunks. Those 2 characters is totally awesome! Playful and certainly lives in their own character world. We had the most tasty hotdogs at one of the food stalls there. It was huge. Very nice mushroom sauce over the sausage with some pickles in. Never had a hotdog like that before. ... than ever before and used many different types; tram, funicular, underground, bus, ferry, hydrofoil, plane, cable car, ski lift and toboggan!! What else can I add to the list?

Today we go to Victoria Peak to see the sights of Hong Kong, we get a funicular to the top and it's very busy. In the queue we are stood behind a Scottish couple, who are in HK for only five nights, I think it's a long way to come ...

... which was exactly like the Hollywood version but with Chinese film stars. We put our hands in the imprints of Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee and Jet Li! After Steves disspointment at missing the Space Museum I had to take him to a bar overlooking the bay to drown his sorrows.
