Golden Inns (Jingsong) Beijing

... to take a boat trip to see the Buddha from the river and take some good pictures from the water. We had a boat and it was really eye-opening, and gave us an even better perspective on the scale of the Buddha, he is really enormous. Anyway, today was a great day, eventhough it started bad, thanks to the guys (Clayton and Pete) who totally saved the day, we had fun and they actually took us out to a genuine Chinese Irish Pub here in Chengdu!

... What a waste of money, despite costing twice as much as in Chengdu it was still just as greasy, the pancakes were soggy and the service was as poor as we have come to expect in Beijing.
