... our brakes. Larry learned to appreciate the noisy exhaust brake you hear truckers use. Sometimes he never touched the foot brake at all, letting the exhaust brake slow down the rig by itself. We were glad to see flatter land ahead.

Our next park was Dakota Ridge RV Park in Golden, Colorado. We had to change sites to get one that was level enough for us to use. It had been a stressful day, and we were eager to ...

... factory floor; it was a wonderful tour. On the way back to the camper we took a detour west on CO Rt. 119 through the mountains, this was billed as a scenic road, and it was a fantastic drive over the mountains and along canyon walls. Unfortunately we ran into some

We decided to try to get close to them to see them (they are fenced in). As we were driving a road that we thought would lead us to the Buffalo, we saw a deer sitting by the road. We all took pictures. As we continued on, ...

... on a family trip many years ago, but I don't remember it. I was surprised at how flat it is. I saw lots of crops as we were landing, just like Missouri and Iowa. We loved the hotel where we stayed in Cherry Creek. It seemed like the ultimate in luxury compared to Bethany! We ate dinner and the kids swam prior to bed.

I am going to bed tonight ... so thankful to be out of the airport!
