... the home of Ron and Pam H., our very good friends from the Nashville area who now make Cody their home.
We are off to Yellowstone for a couple of days and will not be able to use electronics, i.e., cell phones, tablet, or laptop. So adios again my friends for a few days. We woke up and went upstairs to have some really nice pancakes for breakfast. Then Dad, Chris and I went to Jax and then the lab. Jax was a outdoors store which sold fishing gear and bait which is what we needed to get. ... now mommy& daddy are getting a divorce' daughter : ' in there ? ' We passed Jefferson county jail which looks like an art gallery ... A local tells me it looks like a pair of handcuffs viewed from the air . Back in Denver I met Tom for a walk and to hang out... We walked back down beyond Cherry Creek to near the elitch gdns funfair and he persuaded me to go to the Aquarium cafe' with large tank wall ... We had delicious grilled fish tacos and dipping prawns ... ...
... in the day, we drove downtown to Denver's 16th Street Mall...basically a street that is open only to pedestrians and public transport and is closed to regular vehicular traffic. The Mall has a nice mix of tourists, hobos and "regular" people, and it's a fun place. It seems to be a nice asset for Denver.
