... all, we walked 17km today.
After lunch everybody was quite tired so we went for a rest back at Larkspur. Stella so far in the trip has really enjoyed looking through REI with Dad and I. So in exchange for her co-operation after her afternoon nap we scooted across to the mall to have a look at the 4th REI store on tour!
Dad picked up some Chinese takeaways for dinner - a bit more upmarket that the Golden Dragon in Thames - and hit the hay early.

We turned in for our last night at Samuel Taylor Park after a the inaugural rounds of the "Grande USA Rummy Tournament 2014". This is a tournament that will continue until we leave US soil. I have only just taught Erin the game of Rummy and as is typical, she annihilated me. The score stands at Erin 200 - Dave 69. I'm banking on beginner's luck.
