... and numerous microphones for people to sing with. It was just great! We also saw a dance troop practicing and just plain old out loud living! We missed you so much Cia and Andi 2! Next year Evan is the director and Annie is the assistant. She is passing on the reigns.
So...to all of you I say "goodnight!". Tomorrow I am off to a dream of a lifetime. If I don't have any connection I will still write every day and catch you up when I hit Beijing on Wednesday.

And now it’s over….time to pack up a suitcase filled with gifts---tea, trinkets, souvenirs, scrolls, shadow puppets, tea bottles….I hope it all fits! I'm just back from our dinner tonight with everyone to celebrate the end of a successful summer ...

... morning run...but I could have. Instead I picked a perfect one just for me...that's all we need...one little piece of perfect not a whole lotta whatever. ... smile everyday and I want to give my smile to my students." It is too much to write here, but it made my heart feel great. Then Andi, Lauren and I just had tea at The Merry Christmas Bar with two of the Chinese teachers, Shelley and Lily and it was just lovely to sit and chat and talk about teaching and Chinese/American life.
